TIG Federation

Welcome to the TIG Federation (Togetherness Inspires Growth) website. The TIG Federation is a group of three schools: Kirk Hammerton C of E Primary School, Long Marston C of E Primary School and Staveley Community Primary and Nursery School. The Federation was formed in November 2016, with Long Marston joining in November 2021. There is a shared leadership team and governing body across the three schools.

Our federation's vision is:

'We respect everyone as individuals growing together as a community, flourishing through compassion, nurture and inspirational learning.'

Through living out our values of Friendship, Respect and Compassion, we seek to grow our nurturing community and recognise that each child is an individual, that all children need to succeed and also should gain an understanding of the wider context of our local and world community.

We are excited about the opportunities that being federated brings to children and staff; curriculum and experiences are shared by the children, and staff have opportunities to share and further develop their professional expertise.

We welcome any visitors to our federated schools.
